Glocal is a portmanteau of global and local. By definition, the term “Glocal” refers to the individual, group, division, unit, organisation, and communtiy which is willing and is able to “think globally and act locally”.

We, at the GBN, truly believe that our worldwide community should follow the way of glocalisation to reach our main aims. In accord with this way of thinking, we would like to create a global community, but furthermore we intend to help our members in their local initiatives as well.

Glocal Business Network is a non-profit association established by university students in 2008 with the desire to create a unique, invitation-based, multi-cultural community for the business-oriented student organizations of top universities worldwide.

The purpose of the network is to help spread global business thinking among the members, who are the most outstanding and talented students of the five continents. It also aims to help the shaping of international cooperations.

The Glocal Business Network (GBN) is a non-profit organization that enhances the understanding of issues related to international business & affairs (we regard the following fields as high priorities: Management, Economics, Technology in Business, Entrepreneurship) and promotes international career opportunities among members of our worldwide network.
